Your Coral Gables move should begin with a clear path for the truck and a careful plan for the furniture. Share entrances, large pieces, packing needs and delivery access. Popeye’s reviews the details before preparing your written hourly proposal.
Plan the pickup, delivery and property access together. Confirm building and community instructions for your exact addresses.
If the truck needs public curbside space, consult Coral Gables Parking, Sustainability and Mobility Services. The city provides parking maps, permit information and contacts. Ask about the specific location rather than assuming household parking rules cover a moving truck.
Photograph narrow doors, interior turns and furniture with glass or delicate finishes. Identify items needing wrapping or disassembly before the crew arrives. Keep the carrying route clear and let us know what protection you want included.
Agree on destination room labels before loading. Tell us when keys will be available and whether another delivery is scheduled for the same entrance. Your moving plan should allow for both pickup access and a ready destination.
The written proposal identifies the disclosed scope, planned services, protection, access requirements, and price.

Terri was one of the original co-founders of Popeye’s Moving Company and one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She was a devoted mother — beautiful, wholesome, and full of grace — with her unmistakable Southern swank, contagious smile, and the most beautiful ocean-blue eyes. She had a way of lifting people up and brightening anyone’s day, and the love and warmth she gave so freely became part of the heart of this company. We love you, Terri. You are missed dearly, but you will never be forgotten.
